These works of mine are simply called „Lichtbilder“, because of the „light catching“ and „drawing with light“ process that is involved, photography being defined in the early years as a „drawing with light“ process itself. The object I photograph is not the subject of my works, but the LIGHT itself. Because of that, I am able to capture the light beyond the moment, and not just a snapshot of it.
